WiTT gets in the festive spirit with their Christmas party

Boyce Hatton and the ladies of the Women in Torbay & Totnes networking group would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, following another successful Christmas party.

Our attendees at our party on the 3rd December were treated to some different festive surprises this year which hopefully got everyone ready for the festive season.  We started the afternoon with networking, welcoming several new members to our group before heading to the craft table to make Christmas cards and baubles. It was great seeing how proud everyone was of their creations and we look forward to seeing pictures of them on your Christmas trees!

Halfway through the afternoon we revealed the entertainment; which was ourselves! A local rock choir coach, Richard, joined us and ran a vocal workshop, culminating in a WiTT rendition of ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’. Despite a few nervous looks at the beginning of the singing, everyone soon got into the spirit.  Several women saying at the end of the afternoon that it had helped them after a busy morning in the office.

Our raffle raised over £50 for our current charity, the Louisa Cary Ward at Torbay Hospital with prizes kindly donated by Hoopers and Boyce Hatton.

Hoopers very kindly supplied a goodie bag for everyone which rounded off a truly lovely, festive afternoon.

Our next event will be in late February with information to follow soon. If you’d like to come along to our next networking event please email us at [email protected] and we will add you to our mailing list.
