Training Contract Awarded to Tara

Just one year after moving to the South West and joining us as a paralegal in the commercial property team, Tara Hawthorn has been awarded a training contract.

Prior to moving to Devon, Tara studied at the University of Law in Birmingham completing her Masters in Legal Practice in July 2018.

The training contract spans two years at which point Tara will be admitted as a Solicitor. This is our first training contract to be given in several years and is testament to the hard work, commitment and high standard of work by Tara in supporting the busy commercial property team over the last 12 months.

Cheryl Smith, head of the commercial property team said, “Tara is a real asset to our team, understanding what our clients need and getting the job done. I have no doubt she’ll make a great solicitor.”

Tara added: “I’ve really enjoyed my first year at Boyce Hatton; working with and learning from the people here. With the training contract now in place I’m looking forward to broadening my experience across the firm and working towards ultimately becoming a Solicitor.”
